Why do I need multiple sessions?
Hair grows in three stages. The laser can only destroy follicles in the active growth phase — since all hairs are in different stages at any time, multiple sessions are required to catch every follicle.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Most patients describe it as a mild rubber band snap. Diolaze XL has a built-in sapphire cooling tip that significantly reduces discomfort. Topical numbing cream is also available upon request.
Do I need to shave before my appointment?
Yes. Shave the treatment area 24–48 hours before your session. Do not wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams — the laser needs the hair root intact in the follicle.
How permanent is the hair removal?
Most patients see an 80–95% reduction in hair growth after completing their full series. Occasional maintenance sessions may be needed, especially for hormonally active areas.
