Will I see results after one session?
Yes. Many clients see visible improvement within days. Treated brown spots will initially darken, then flake off over 5–7 days, revealing clearer skin. Vascular improvements are typically visible within 2 weeks.
Why do the brown spots get darker after treatment?
This is completely normal. Treated spots darken for 24–48 hours as pigment rises to the surface, then naturally flake off over 5–7 days. Do not pick or scrub them.
How many sessions do I need?
Most clients achieve optimal results in 1–3 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Because Lumecca delivers up to 3x more energy than traditional IPL, it achieves in fewer sessions what conventional IPL takes 6–8 sessions to produce.
Is Lumecca safe for all skin types?
Lumecca is safe and effective for lighter to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–IV). Clients with darker skin tones may be at higher risk for hyperpigmentation with IPL. A full consultation will determine the safest approach for your skin type.
